On the 28th of February, Mr. Peter Kütemann, Chairman and founder of Dietsmann attended the exclusive screening of “the 24h du Mans official movie,” which was presented by Mariya Gabriel, the European Commissioner for Innovation, Research and Youth, and Pierre Fillon, the President of Automobile Club de l’Ouest. Open discussions after the presentation of the documentary with race car drivers Sarah Bovy, Sébastien Buemi, Yannick Dalmas and Stéphane Richelmi on the potential of hydrogen-powered vehicles were very insightful and innovative discoursing the future of racing cars and sustainable energy.
On March 1, the first hydrogen-powered vehicle to compete at this level of endurance racing appeared at the Autoworld museum in Brussels to unveil its 2023 livery. Dietsmann had the pleasure to be participant in this great unveiling which followed the official presentation of Hydrogen Valleys that was held in the presence of elected representatives and European institutions as well as hydrogen stakeholders discussing the future of hydrogen energy.
At the event, the H24 prototype wore its brand-new, eye-catching livery where the color blue represents water, the car emissions, and the stopwatch symbolizes both the passing of time leading up to the 24 Hours of Le Mans Centenary festivities in 2023 as well as the time gained for the world thanks to an initiative to speed up research into zero-carbon technologies. This incredible reveal was participated by the European Commissioner Maryia Gabriel who unveiled the new version of the racing car.
Dietsmann, as one of the leading companies in the energy industry, has a big responsibility in making sure that we turn towards sustainable energies and invest in environmentally friendly energy solutions. The sponsoring of the Mission H24 is one way, among some others, to reflect our continuous commitment to sustainability and integration of renewable energies.
Together with Green GT, we look forward to exploring the future of automotive mobility, as well as to participating in informative events that may contribute in improving the visibility of hydrogen as renewable energy.
