Leadership Team
The leadership team reports to the CEO. Each member manages a business area within the company, providing coordination and oversight, as well as offering insight across business areas through their participation in the Operations Committee and/or Support & Coordination Committee.
Leadership Team
Cesare is the Chief Executive Officer of Dietsmann and a member of the Management Board. He leads global operations and strategic growth initiatives, bringing extensive leadership experience within the company. He holds a Master’s degree in Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture from the University of Genoa.
Ionut is the Vice President of Technology at Dietsmann, leading all technical departments and initiatives, including Maintenance and Inspection Engineering, Predictive Maintenance, IT and Cybersecurity. Ionut has extensive experience in the energy sector and holds a Master’s degree in Advanced Power Electronics and Drives from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
Laurent is the Group Director of HSEQ and Sustainability at Dietsmann, defining and overseeing global HSEQ policies while ensuring compliance with industry standards and conducting audits. He has over 20 years of expertise in Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality management. Laurent is a graduate of the French Naval Academy and has a Master’s degree in Industrial Risks.
David is the Vice President of Operations at Dietsmann, overseeing operations in France, Gabon, Congo, and Angola and ensuring project delivery and operational efficiency. David has over 25 years of experience in the energy sector and holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from ESIGELEC.

Roberto is the Group Human Resources Director at Dietsmann. With over 30 years of HR experience, he leads the global HR function, shaping and implementing strategies that support the Group’s workforce across 15 countries. Roberto joined Dietsmann in 2004, where he initially led the Payroll Department and supported the Group’s expansion across multiple countries.
Alessandro is the Vice President of Operations at Dietsmann, managing activities in Italy, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, and Romania and focusing on regional growth and operational performance. With a career spanning over a decade at Dietsmann, he has held a range of leadership positions. Alessandro holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Catania.
Mihai is the Group Tendering Director at Dietsmann, leading strategic bids and tendering activities across multiple sectors. He joined the company in 2021 and has contributed to the development of cutting-edge technological solutions. Mihai holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Politehnica University of Bucharest.
Alberto is the Vice President of Operations at Dietsmann, responsible for operations in Kuwait, Libya, Qatar, South Sudan, UAE, and Uganda and driving business development initiatives. Alberto has been with Dietsmann since 2005 holding key leadership roles in project and operations management across diverse international markets. Alberto holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino.
