General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
As of May 25th 2018, the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is effective.
In order to comply with the GDPR a comprehensive data protection framework is being put in place that will enable Dietsmann to assess its use of personal data and confirm the legal basis of processing the data to meet the applicable legal obligations.
Once implemented throughout the Dietsmann organization this framework will continue to develop as its effectiveness will be reviewed systematically to ensure that objectives are being met and relevant issues are identified and addressed.
Where appropriate and applicable a data protection impact assessment will be carried out in line with the requirements and recommendations of the GDPR and relevant best practices.
To provide a single line of communication for data protection matters a dedicated Privacy Team has been established and a dedicated e-mail address – privacy@dietsmann.com – has been created.
Anyone who wishes to exercise their rights in accordance with the GDPR, or receive further information in respect of personal data protection should contact the Privacy Team via this dedicated e-mail address.
