Dietsmann has launched a prevention campaign on tick-borne diseases as it operates in countries which are affected by diseases transmitted by ticks.

These diseases include:

• Lyme disease : Central Europe (Kazakhstan, Bulgaria…) is the most affected area but over the last years, the number of cases is in sharp increase in all Europe (France, Italy..)
• Tick-borne encephalitis : vaccination is recommended in areas at risk (Central Europe)
• Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever : fatal viral disease (40% of cases)

Dietsmann is fully committed to comply with the most stringent Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) standards and to provide all fundamental health and hygiene rules to observe.

The Company is therefore launching its prevention campaign on these tick-borne diseases to give the right advices and protect its employees.

Informative sessions will be organized and run on site in the countries in which these diseases are a threat. The campaign is promoted in the relevant languages.
